Palm nuts

Palm nuts are the natural food of the African grey Parrots and make up 80% of there diet in the wild. It is actually the yellow flesh around the nut that is important, although larger Parrots such as Macaws can crack the nut aswell. Palm nuts are good for all Parrots, particularly pets, but also breeding birds as well.

On arrival put the Palm Nuts into the freezer. They should be thawed overnight and washed before use.

Just take out what you need for your birds then re-seal the bag.

On average give an African grey size bird 2 nuts per day. Vary quantity to suit the size of your birds.
